Caldecon, Inc. (Elizabeth Freebird) recently attended A.B.R.A.'s 10th annual conference in San Diego, California. We had a great time down there and are looking forward to next years conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2008. The contacts made and topics presented at the conference were absolutely invaluable to us. I met with all board members and got a chance to promote Caldecon, Inc. and see what other companies in this industry are doing to become and remain successful companies and leaders in the biohazardous waste field. This alone is invaluable. The board members and all in attendance that are already A.B.R.A. certified made themselves completely open to giving help and support to our organization throughout the year.
President/Owner, Elizabeth Freebird, challenged the A.B.R.A. bio-recovery technician test and scored the highest of all challenge test takers at the conference, passing the A.B.R.A. certified Bio-Recovery Technician's test which made her a A.B.R.A. certified Bio-Recovery Technician as well as an Amdecon® Certified technician.
I would like to thank all A.B.R.A. board members and attendees for making this conference great. Previously, we had a lot of reservations about ABRA but those were put to rest quickly and I am sure that ABRA is the organization to join for any individual or company working in this field. The $400 conference fee and the price of the ABRA yearly membership are worth the conference's value alone. Caldecon, Inc. is looking forward to receiving acceptance and becoming a full fledged voting member in this industry association.
