How much does it cost?
That’s a really important question. Almost all of the calls we get are from the friends and family members inquiring about our services and the cost of our service. You may be surprised to know that this industry does have industry standard pricing, which basically means there is an average for certain types of cleanup jobs. Most of our services are covered in the Bluebook pricing guide under biohazard decontamination services within that yearly published guide. There are other insurance guides that also follow along specific biohazard cleanup jobs. Many people call and want “ball-park” figures and that is okay, if you can describe the scene, we can talk but most importantly we really need to see the site. It is very difficult to give an over the phone estimate to someone. We have had jobs where it was described as a little blood and literally it was a blood bath and we’ve had jobs described as quite traumatic where we couldn’t figure out where exactly the scene was, so it goes both ways in our business….but most importantly…. Time, materials, cost of disposal and area of decontamination is taken into consideration. Please call us and we can figure it out with you. What you do want done should be done by a licensed and experienced professional whose primary order of business is cleaning up traumatic biohazardous waste scenes. A mold company, a carpet cleaner or a flood company does not know how to remediate a biohazardous waste site and probably aren’t licensed for it anyway. Psychologically and professionally, we are prepared to handle this type of situation and to deal with family members who are in stages of grief and trauma. Discretion is important to us and we know it’s important to you. Call us and we will give you an honest opinion of the matter and we can work with you, your family or friend.
