Blood Cleanup Service

      From nosebleeds to suicides to industrial work accidents, we've cleaned up many sites. 80-90% of our jobs involve removing, cleaning and disinfecting areas where there has been at minimum a blood spill. We offer tissue and blood cleanup services and we are licensed yearly by the state of California. The most important aspect of cleaning up a blood scene is ensuring that all blood is indeed removed. We have been to more than a few sites, where the scene appears to have been cleaned only to discover when lifting a baseboard or a tile that there remains a pool of blood.

      Our blood cleanup services are performed by trained professionals who understand the dangers of bloodborne and airborne pathogens. Because blood has the potential to infect those who come in contact with it, we always wear personal protective equipment and always use “universal precautions” when at the scene of a traumatic injury. This means that we treat all blood and potentially infectious body fluids as if they are known to contain bloodborne pathogens, or diseases, even though they might not.

Blood can contain pathogens (diseases)

     Blood, in liquid, solid or aerosol form can endanger anyone who comes in contact with it. Blood can be transferred to people by injection, inhalation, ingestion or absorption. Blood can transfer to another via skin or eye contact, such as a splash when scrubbing or cleaning. Cleaning up a blood spill or other body fluids can be scary, gory and traumatic to someone who is not used to seeing it.

     Cross contamination is when blood is carried from one object to another, one object to a person or from person to person. This can be done quite easily as when someone walks through a contaminated site and the bottom of their shoes transfer blood or body fluids to another area of the home or business.

Special Blood Cleaners

    We use special virucidal disinfectants, enzymes, methods and equipment when sanitizing a crime scene, death scene or traumatic injury scene.  These special cleaners are specifically made for cleaning up blood, body fluids and tissues.The most important factor is ensuring that all blood and body fluids are removed completely and the area properly disinfected, you remain safe from any diseases and that cross contamination does not occur.

    Cleaning up blood also involves detecting blood that you cannot see. Like any other liquid, blood often falls in cracks and wall / floor seams and if not cleaned thoroughly, the area will attract ants or other animals and the area will start or continue to smell.
